I can’t remember which interview, but Steve Albini said that he wishes that he had a reverse snare something that sucks the snare sound out out of an existing recording or a live recording in studio. Well, in honor of his memory we built this thing that i guess we are calling the snare sucker right now.
anyways i have the c++ code ready it works perfectly live or recorded
just need to do a little more testing work and then you can use it to remove snare from the more delicate recordings
